Exhibited: Exhibition of Soviet Art, Philadelphia, 1934 (labels on the reverse). Related literature: For a similar work from the same series, see A. Nurok, Mastera sovetskoi stankovoi grafiki, Moscow, 1962, No. 8. In 1930-31 Dormidontov worked on a series depicting the construction of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station. Part of this series is in the collection of the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
